I keep an ongoing list of all suppliers in Canada that I have found that ship peonies by mail. I compare size and price and when interested in a particular variety purchase accordingly. I just received Bartzella in the mail today.
It is a small root but considering that it is one of the pricier ones I am willing to wait. It arrived in excellent condition and I am hoping for some good results in a few years. Bartzella is a very large double, intersectional. Each plant carries up to sixty frilly, lemon-yellow blooms on 24" to 36" stems. Fragrant.
